Covering a whole range of topics from the Prehistoric formation of the land which makes up West Lothian, to the Industrial, Political and Commercial climate and Housing boom of today, the Hub covers almost everyaspect of West Lothians fascinating History.

So, here we are Once again on a fine May morning on the morning of the ancient Pagan Beltane Festival, which signifies the passing over Into the Light half of the year, and out of the Dark hemisphere of the Years wheel. A New dawn for a new summer. A new beginning for life as we can see when we look around us at the plants and trees. We see the greenery starting to sprout.
An appropriate time, I think for the Launching of the West Lothian History Hub, which I hope shall bring years of enjoyment and Education for many over a long time to come.I must say, It’s been a busy time over the past couple of months getting the website ready to go live that you all may enjoy it.
Of course, the site isn’t complete, and never will be because there’s so much to tell with West Lothians past that It would take a million lifetimes to write it all down. But I’m happy to haver the website’s basics complete. Then we can continue to add more content on a regular basis, which you can find out more about by checking the West Lothian History Hub’s programme to find out whats on in the coming months.
