The Original farmstead called ‘Mid Foulshiels’ is still in the same place. However, its no longer called ‘Mid Foulshiels’. It is In fact called ‘East Foulshiels’, with the original East building long gone and barely a ruin in the edge of a field. So, the building we see below in the 1856 Parish map became the most Easterly of the Foulshiels farmsteads.
