Mosshall farm is situated just outside of the village of Blackburn to the West near the Village of Redmill. Today, the Mosshall estate is home to a static caravan site. But, as we can see from the Old Maps like this 1655 Parish map below, Mosshall has been around for a long time. It features prominently on Maps dating back as far as the 17th century although the settlement is thought to be older yet.
