Riddoch Hill farm Blackburn, West Lothian, EH48

Riddoch Hill was Once a farm that was situated to the West side of Blackburn. It sat near to the Old Cotton Mill that once operated on the River Almond. But it has long since been demolished and became part of Blackburn, aptly named ‘Riddoch Hill Road.

This 1856 Parish Map of west Lothian shows Riddoch Hill farm. It’s situated right next to the Lade for the Cotton Mill which sat upon the River Almond. This sat only about 200 yards to the South of the farm.
